Why Bōkan?

Bōkan is situated at the top of Novotel London Canary Wharf. Occupying Level 37 – Restaurant, Level 38 – Bar & Level 39 – Rooftop terrace.

It have been designed to showcase modern European cuisine using many British ingredients while reflecting London’s multicultural influences. The dramatic panoramic views over Canary Wharf, the City, Greenwich and the Thames quickly made it one of East London’s destination restaurants. The name is thought to reference the area’s maritime heritage. The Isle of Dogs was once one of the busiest docklands in the world, handling cargo from across the globe. Bōkan’s interiors also draw on this industrial and shipping history, using exposed steel, timber and dock-inspired design elements.
